Jill Zarin tells UsMagazine.com she still can't get over the frosty reception she received surprising Ramona Singer, Alex McCord and Bethenny Frankel on vacation in the Virgin Islands.
"It was such a Mean Girls moment that I literally cried for like two or three days," she tells Us. "They didn't offer me a glass of water or a bathroom! We had just traveled nine hours, and they knew it. I had to pee! You have no idea what a schlep it was. Schlep doesn't even describe it!"
Zarin, 46, originally told Singer, 53, she wouldn't go on the trip -- which was to celebrate Singer's marriage vow renewal -- because of her feuds with Frankel, 39, and McCord, 36. But she tells Us she decided to swing by on her way to St. Bart's to declare: "'I'm here to make up with everybody!'"
"Alex was the one to really throw me out," she tells Us. "If she said, 'I don't care‚' then Ramona would have had me stay. [And] why didn't Ramona say to Alex, 'Jill is my friend. She should have called, but I'm not throwing her out'?"
Says Zarin, "It was the most hurtful thing that's ever happened to me."

I hated that happened because I loved the show last year when Jill and Bethenny were good friends...Jill has showed a different side of herself this year. It was painful, but unfortunately, she brought it upon herself. You cannot be that mean to people and say rude things to their faces and expect to be welcomed with open arms.

ReplyDeleteYou only get what you give. If she were truly going down there to apologize, then she would have understood why she was turned away. I think she only says now that she was there to issue a mea culpa because she wants everyone to feel guilty for making her leave. And let's ignore the fact that Jill could have peed at the airport, if not the plane, but I wouldn't have thought to ask her if she needed to use the bathroom before she left. Jill isn't a child, even though she may act like one. She should know when she has to go potty without anyone telling her, and had she asked to freshen up, I'm sure they would have been happy to accommodate her. Again, it's another thing to say to make everyone feel sorry for Jill and disappointed in everyone else, while again they are meant to feel guilt. This seems to be Jill's routine. I know women like this. They'll say things like, "No, I don't want the last piece of cake. Why don't you take it?" and once you do, they're pissed because you didn't offer it back to them. That is Jill's sort.

You have said to Bethenny "We are done", You have said to Alex "We should not travel in the same social circles", You have said to Ramona "you are not my friend". You tried to convice some of the women to not go and been rude to just about everyone - yet you can't imagine why they did not want you to be there - and last I checked the airport has both bathrooms and water. And with that big mouth of yours you could have easily asked to use the restroom. Why you would drag Bobby to an all womens weekend when you already declined is beyond me - all you think about is how you feel and what you want - you never once stopped to take into consideration that they might not have wanted you there and your showing up unannounced felt like an "ambush" and these girls left their notes home. Karma - it is a powerful thing!

ReplyDeleteWow, so Jill received 1/10th of the pain that she's been giving the other women for years. This woman is crazy. I know it is a TV show, but she infuriates me, when there are larger problems in the world, yet all Jill can see is herself and her bank account.
ReplyDeleteAfter this season Jill really needs to do some soul searching and look within herself because she really turned a lot of people off. There was no reason for her to treat Bethenny so badly and to be so shocked and hurt when the same was returned to her. If you dish it out you have to be able to take it and Jill obviously cannot. I was a big Jill fan in the previous seasons but no longer. You created a great deal of bad karma this season with your funky and mean spirited attitude. If you return next season at least you will have the opportunity to redeem yourself. Now, Kelly, I don't even want to go there, she is in a "crazy" category all by herself!

She claims she takes accountability but through the entire show I have yet to see her actually do so. All she has ever done is look down on others, treat them badly and then talk about how wrong everyone else is. It isn't just this season people... go back and rewatch the other seasons and pay more attention. Just because she made you laugh in previous seasons doesn't mean she wasn't any less nasty when it comes down to it. All of the women have too much cattiness, that's certain. After Jill used a phony identity (Susan Saunders) to threaten a reviewer of her book and tell people to steal the reviewer's cat (which is really a dog), she deserves to be removed from the Bravo lineup. Unethical people should not be rewarded with attention of any sort.

It is amazing how engulfed we as a society on the actions of the NYHW but, on that note Jill was the one that started the whole thing from the moment that she had Luanne listen from speaker phone when Beth was talking to her...that was so high school and as far as Alex it is still unclear what it was that transpired her ill feelings towards Jill but what I find ironically is that Jill is promoting a book in about how to handel situations and I clearly think that she was quite underage on how she responded to the St Bart invite all the way down to her pop in....
