VIDEO: The Salahis 'Crash' Letterman Monologue

Michaele and Tareq Salahi first came to worldwide attention crashing a White House State Dinner, and now the camera-loving socialites are continuing their ways --by crashing David Letterman's late night home!

On The Late Show with David Letterman Tuesday, Letterman went about his opening monologue when Michaele and Tareq Salahi suddenly brought the show to a halt when they appeared on stage to pose with the late night host while paparazzi took their pictures.

The stunt didn't faze Letterman who responded, "It's interesting to me. For all practical purposes, it's trespassing, but the crowd goes wild." He went on about his business after the short delay.

The Salahi's have been making the media rounds lately, amid speculation they are going to be involved in Bravo's Washington, D.C. edition of the Real Housewives.

The Salahi's Make Second Crash Attempt

Famous party crashers Michaele and Tareq Salahi were stopped by the Secret Service yesterday trying to make their way, uninvited, into a second state dinner, the AP reports.

The couple, now the stars of a reality show, were dressed for the occasion: A source tells me Mrs. Salahi was clad in a white mink coat.

A Secret Service spokesman said the Salahis' limousine drove through a red light and signaled to turn into a restricted area when it was stopped by a Secret Service uniformed officer.

The couple are starring on Bravo's reality show, "The Real Housewives of DC".

Salahis want apology from White House

Michaele and Tareq Salahi, the infamous White House crashers, are still smarting from embarrassment after the State Dinner fiasco in November.

"It would be nice if somebody apologized to us," Tareq Salahi, along with his wife Michaele, told RadarOnline.com in a new interview. "I would certainly not treat anyone this way that comes to my house, even if there was a question about an invitation, or there was some miscommunication... I would still welcome anyone and be gracious."

The couple said they've received death threats and a package at their home that contained a used condom. "We have received 70-30 (percent) positive-negative... 30 who think it was a stunt to become famous and it wasn't," said Michaele. "That's 100 percent not the case."

The Salahis are about to embark on a national media tour to promote the Real Housewives of D.C., with an interview on Inside Edition this week and with Matt Lauer on NBC's Today Show, on May 25, says Radar. The couple also plans to write a book about their experience and release a Salahi action figure and costumes in time for Halloween.
